The airshow is held rain or shine! Most activities are outdoors, so dress appropriately for weather. Bring sunscreen, hats, and comfortable walking shoes. In case of severe weather, safety announcements will be made over the PA system.

Yes! Parking is completely FREE for all airshow attendees.
Parking Areas:
  • General Admission: North of admission gates with shuttle service
  • Tailgate Red/Blue: Direct flightline parking in designated zones
  • Accessible parking: Available close to main entrance and viewing areas
  • Oversized vehicles: Special area in rear of blue tailgate section

Absolutely! Everyone is welcome to walk around the entire airshow grounds, no matter what type of ticket you have.

This means:

  • Tailgate ticket holders don't have to stay by their vehicle
  • General admission visitors can explore the aircraft displays
  • Everyone can visit the museum hangars and gift shop
  • You can get up close to performing aircraft between shows

Just follow all posted signs and directions from staff for your safety and the safety of others.

  • Camera or smartphone
  • Small golf umbrellas (up to 60" across)
  • Coolers with food/drinks (no glass/alcohol)

Yes! You can bring prepared food and drinks with some restrictions:

There will also be a variety of food and beverage vendors throughout the grounds.

Your tailgate ticket covers admission for everyone in your vehicle.

  • You can have as many people as the number of seatbelts in your vehicle
  • This is for safety and your group's viewing enjoyment
  • Each tailgate space is 20' × 20' - large enough for your vehicle plus chairs/picnic setup
  • Everyone in your group can explore the entire airshow grounds

We accommodate RVs and larger vehicles!

  • Vehicles larger than standard cars, pickups, or SUVs need an Oversized ticket ($150)
  • You'll park in the designated oversized area (rear of blue tailgate section)
  • Larger space allocation to accommodate your vehicle
  • Close to restrooms and food vendors for convenience

Unfortunately, specific spot selection isn't practical with hundreds of vehicles to manage safely.

To park with friends: Meet outside the airshow grounds and drive in together as a convoy. Our parking staff will do their best to keep your group together.

We cannot reserve specific spaces, and there's no saving of parking spots. Please follow all parking attendant directions for everyone's safety.

Check-in is quick and easy!

  • Your ticket will be scanned as you drive through the admission gates
  • Have your ticket ready - either printed or displayed on your phone
  • Parking staff will guide you to the next available spot in your designated area
  • The whole process is designed to keep traffic flowing smoothly

Yes! Clean, well-maintained facilities are available throughout the grounds:

The Lost & Found is located at the Museum Information & Membership Tent outside of Swanson Hall.

Lost something? Ask any volunteer or staff member to direct you there, or look for the information tent near the main museum buildings.

NO. There is absolutely no smoking, vaping, or drug use anywhere on the airshow grounds - not even in your vehicle.

This policy is strictly enforced for the safety of all attendees and our aircraft operations.

For the safety of attendees and animals, pets are not allowed on the show grounds.

  • Certified service animals are permitted
  • Emotional support or companion animals are not permitted
  • Airshows are not pet-friendly environments due to loud noises and large crowds
  • Please make arrangements for your pets at home

Please keep music volume low - don't disturb nearby visitors who want to enjoy the show.

  • We provide music and live performances throughout the day
  • Tune to 87.9 FM for official airshow commentary
  • Respect your neighbors and keep volumes reasonable
  • Loud music that disrupts the experience may result in being asked to turn it off

The airshow is held rain or shine! Most activities continue in light rain, though aerial performances may be modified for safety.

Severe Weather:
  • Lightning delays announced via radio/PA
  • Seek shelter in vehicles if advised

Life-threatening emergency: Call 911 immediately and provide your location on the airfield to the dispatcher.

For other emergencies or assistance:

  • Report to any event personnel or security officer
  • Look for volunteers in airshow shirts or high-vis vests
  • Visit the information tent near Swanson Hall
  • Flag down any roving security officer

Emergency services and medical personnel are stationed throughout the grounds during all airshow hours.

Absolutely! Shopping and museum visits are part of the full airshow experience.

Yes! Self-contained camping is available in a designated area.

  • Duration: 4:00 PM Friday through 4:00 PM Sunday
  • Location: Separate from main viewing area but with great airshow views
  • Includes: Admission for everyone in your camper for both show days
  • Requirements: Self-contained units only (no hookups available)

Camping provides a unique multi-day airshow experience with the convenience of staying on-site.

You can leave at any time, but please note:

  • Notify a parking attendant or security officer before moving your vehicle from tailgate areas
  • General admission visitors can leave at any time
  • No re-admittance once you leave the grounds
  • Consider staying for the grand finale - it's always spectacular!

No refunds are provided, but tickets will be honored at the next airshow if we cannot host due to circumstances beyond our control.
What This Means:
  • Weather delays don't qualify for refunds
  • Performer cancellations don't qualify for refunds
  • We provide substitute entertainment when possible
